Summer is finally here and Amsterdam-based 2Wine are out to make ‘to wine’ the hottest verb of the season – with Ardagh Metal Packaging’s specialist Wine Can taking centre stage. Comprising a Sauvignon Blanc, a Merlot-Cabernet rosé, and an Italian sparkling wine to toast to the return of good times, 2Wine’s new trio of 250ml slim cans are gorgeously photogenic, inviting friends to immortalise their catch-ups on social media.

The 2Wine range boasts a sophisticated design in three super-contemporary pearlescent colours – gold-bronze for the white wine, apple green for the brut and warm pink for the rosé – with a sleek, simple graphic line suggesting a corkscrew. This fun ironic note gestures at the benefits of wine in cans: there’s no need to carry around corkscrews, glasses, or anything else.

With wine in cans being a fast-growing sales sector, predicted by Euromonitor to reach 400million cans in 2023, the 2Wine range responds to several current lifestyle trends.
